WANDA is Hiring an Experienced "A-Level" Generator Technician - $20K SIGN ON BONUS Near East Granby, CT

DescriptionKinsley is offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus for an experienced "A-Level" Generator Technician in New York City. The optimal candidate will have 10 years of generator field service experience on units ranging from 10kW to 1,500kW.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing, and start-ups on generators.
  • Skilled in preparing accurate repair quotes and completing/submitting work orders promptly.
  • Capable of conducting major engine repairs and overhauls with precision.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call, rotating schedule for emergency service.
  • Must possess and maintain a comprehensive set of tools including a multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.
  • Strong commitment to safety with an OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Possession of a valid DOT Card (or ability to obtain one) and a valid driver’s license.
Sign-on Bonus Stipulations
  • The bonus will be paid in two $10,000 installments: one upon hire and the other after 6 months. To be eligible, candidates must:
  • Reside within a 60-minute drive of mid-town Manhattan.
  • Hold a current EGSA Journeyman Certification and/or score over 90% on the in-person KPS technician assessment exam.
  • Be new Kinsley employees or not have been employed by Kinsley within the past 3 years.
