Blanchard Valley Health System is a regional community non-profit serving an eight-county community in Findlay, NW Ohio that is seeking an OB Hospitalist.
BVHS Specialties: Allergy & Immunology, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, EMS, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, GI, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Occupational Medicine, Physician Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Palliative Care & Hospice, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Critical Care, Radiation Oncology, Rheumatology, Senior Care Services, Urgent Care, Urology, Wound Care
- Level II Special Care Nursery 32 weeks , 1000 deliveries/year
- 24-hour OB care, 7 shifts/block
- Additional shifts available if interested
- Scheduled C-sections
- Consults only for gynecology
- Non-emergent surgeries as needed, surgical team on-call to assist
- Facilitate transfers
- No outpatient clinic coverage
- Oversight of midwives
- ED unassigned obstetrics patients
- 24-hour in-house pediatric hospitalist service
- One delivering hospital, sleep room on floor
- Remote attendance for high-risk meetings
- Integrated EMR with Cerner throughout health system
- Practice and team dedicated to supporting you
- Autonomy and input with schedule, volumes and practice operations
