Front Office Responsibilities:

- Educate patients about treatment options and finances within your realm of expertise – refer to doctor if needed
- A great attitude, work ethic, and coachability required. Everything else can be taught!
Specific:
- Greeting patients as they come in the door
- Ensure patients make any necessary updates to account or medical information
- Check out patients; including collecting their balance, and scheduling appointments
- Submit insurance claims electronically with necessary attachments
- Answer phone calls and assist patients
- Make phone calls to confirm appointments and follow up with those who may not have scheduled
- Complete end of day procedures
Additional Specific:
- Collect all necessary information for new or existing patients with insurance
- Verify patient’s insurance benefits
- Present treatment plans
- Post insurance payments and perform appropriate adjustments and scan EOB in patient’s Document Center
- Answer patient questions about insurance benefits and balances due
- Follow up with outstanding or denied claims to ensure timely payment
Additional information:
- Hours: Monday through Thursday 7:40am-5:00pm with one hour lunch, some Fridays as needed
- Salary: Negotiable
- Previous office experience required
- Knowledge of Dentrix a plus
