Warehouse Service Logistics is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager Near Oakdale, MN

As a leader in the Human Resources organization, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for ensuring that systems and processes are in place for the organization to execute on talent management strategies to source, attract, recruit, select and onboard talent.

  • Lead a team of recruiters focused on identifying and developing talent acquisition strategies, services, and activities that support the current and future talent needs of the business
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment
  • Proactively target recruitment venues/sites that grow the candidate pipeline, aligning with the needs of Company’s staffing plan
  • Manage the applicant tracking system through company HRM, ensuring accurate process flows and positive applicant experience
  • Develop, implement, and measure recruiting strategies
  • Partner with stakeholders to fully understand the business and key talent needs
  • Identify and implement key metrics and provide analytics that impact decision-making about talent acquisition, pipelines, and recruiting strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process
  • Lead the Company’s employer brand and social media activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years’ experience in recruiting or staffing, preferably in transportation and/or logistics industry
  • 2 years’ experience in a people leadership role

Additional Skills & Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of recruitment, assessment, screening, interviewing, and referral processes
  • Understanding of employment laws
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to partner with and influence at all levels in the organization
  • Experience working with and building relationships with technical colleges and community organizations
  • Experience successfully sourcing and recruiting talent across multiple functions within an organization
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with experience drafting compelling job descriptions
  • Ability to advise hiring managers on recruiting and current market conditions
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize

Experience

Preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in recruiting or staffing, preferably in transportation and/or logistics industry 2 years’ experience in a people leadership role
