Job Title: Coordinator, Contract AdministrationA little bit about our team:This is a unique opportunity to join the Business & Legal Affairs department at Atlantic Records. In Contract Administration, we are responsible for reviewing and vetting all audio and video material released by the company, including ensuring timely clearance of all third party side artist issues. We additionally oversee all third-party licensing requests and draft various ancillary agreements. You will have the opportunity to work with various departments as we serve as the primary interface between Legal, A&R Administration, Licensing and Royalties.
Your role:We are currently seeking a Coordinator to join our Contract Administration team. You will play a critical role in the performance and success of the department. You will be responsible for obtaining approvals, contractual research and side artist clearances. If you enjoy working behind the scenes, in a fast-paced team environment this is the position for you.

Salary Range$21.79 to $23.07 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. Here you’ll get to:
- Handle all incoming promotional clearance requests for active catalog on all samplers, TV shows, artwork, etc., including obtaining necessary approvals and drafting no objection letters/gratis licenses
- Obtain approvals for third party soundtrack and compilation licensing requests
- Liaise with outside labels and artist managers to obtain side artist clearances, including assisting in negotiating of terms
- Research rights/restrictions for various departments, including, regarding litigation and licensing requests.
- Review videos for trademark/copyright issues
- Assist in department and company projects as needed
- Detail-oriented, incredibly organized, timely and accurate
- Strong research skills
- Solid communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize workflow
- BA or BS degree
- Legal assistant background
- Passion for music
- Desire to learn about the business side of the music industry
