What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Warners Stellian Co Inc?
A day in the life of a Sales Manager:
- Assists customers with customer service questions, handling escalated customer issues, following up on customer surveys and online reviews as needed, and working closely with internal departments to resolve any issues
- Oversees the cleanliness and presentation of the sales floor, including the posting of rebates, the accuracy of pricing and point of sale marketing, and merchandise displays
- Reviews department reports and sales orders, following up with sales associates as needed
- Motivates associates to achieve sales and warranty goals including coaching, training and directing staff in order to maintain enhance engagement, skill proficiency and productivity
- Ensures customer payments are collected timely by all team members
- Creates staff schedule and ensures store is properly staffed
- Conducts monthly and annual associate reviews as directed
- Identifies and implements process improvements
- Perform duties of a Sales Associate

To succeed in the role, one must have:
- Extensive product knowledge to anticipate customer needs and recommend merchandise
- Outstanding communication skills, active listening, empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work and documentation
- Ability to make judgement calls in the moment to help customers while being fair to both the customer and the organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Thorough understanding of department processes and policies
Job Qualifications:
- Appliance sales experience
- Previous management experience preferred
