Job Summary:
The Development Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining and using
information about donors who support Warrior Homes of Collier. The coordinator
will process donations submitted electronically or via check, send gift
acknowledgment letters, creates, and runs reports as requested, conducts donor
research for fundraising purposes, and participates in donor stewardship
activities. The Development Coordinator also supports Warrior Homes of Collier
fundraising events by entering, analyzing, and reporting on donors and prospects.
The coordinator works with the office staff as needed in support of all company
sponsored events. Position will report directly to the President of WHC.
This is a remote, part-time position (10 to 20 hours per week) with flexibility in
working hours. If you are a detail-oriented, conscientious, trustworthy person with
experience in data entry and reporting, who can work productively without
frequent supervision, this may be the position for you. We are a flexible and
informal workplace, but our standards for productivity and quality of work are
high.
Responsibilities:
Accurately processes gift information, importing and exporting data from a
variety of sources, and in accordance with philanthropy best practices.
Issues appropriate gift acknowledgment letters in a timely manner.
Pulls datasets to support fundraising appeals and donor stewardship
programs, including events, direct mail, and other outreach campaigns.
Oversees and manages online giving platforms and campaigns.
Manages pledge installments and sends timely donor reminders.
Maintains volunteer information in DonorPerfect.
Supports leadership with data for financial reporting and donor relationship
building/stewardship.
Understands and effectively uses DonorPerfect integrated applications,
including Ready Set Auction, Constant Contact, iWave, and reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Knowledge and experience with DonorPerfect and/or other donor Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Basic understanding of the fundraising process and the role of the
Development Coordinator within that process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other computer
software.
Ability to work independently and productively from a remote location, with
occasional offsite support responsibilities that may take place in evenings or
on weekends.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Detail oriented with excellent record keeping skills.
