This is an on-site position based at our Bedford Park, IL corporate headquarters, with potential for a flexible hybrid work schedule.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle
• Design and execute test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure the quality of the products
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Facilitate process improvement initiatives to enhance production quality
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing technical insights and solutions
• Ensure compliance with the company's quality assurance standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and provide comprehensive solutions
• Lead automation scripting and execution, maintaining of automation frameworks
• Execute various types of automated tests including unit, component, acceptance, integration, load, security, scalability, usability, and platform tests
• Contribute to the maturity of the QA automation framework, using industry-standard tools and approaches
• Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance, making recommendations for improvements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and industry best practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 3 years of experience in Automated Software Quality Assurance
• Strong proficiency in quality management systems, software testing tools, and methodologies
• Proficient in designing and implementing comprehensive test plans
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Jenkins, and pipeline scripting
• Familiarity with testing web applications developed in JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, and backend applications in Java/C#
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and source code control systems like Git
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
• Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required
