Lab moderators will work to maintain the creative and collaborative spirit at the Connolly Center and ensure the safety of people using the space. Lab moderators can also be promoted to lab managers after gaining experience at the Connolly Center.

Responsibilities

• Authorizing visitors.
• Machine repairs.
• Create content for the space in both physical and digital forms.
• Create social media posts with approval from Faculty Director.
• Fostering community.
• Evolving the space as it grows.
• Attending meetings as requested.

Qualifications

Needed

• Student at Washington and Lee University

Optional

• Entrepreneurship experience
• OSHA or first aid training
• Power tools
• Electronics/circuitry
• Teaching experience
• Design, prototyping, or manufacturing
• CAD software
