Washington County (Minnesota) is Hiring an Administrative Specialist II, Variable Hour Near Hillsboro, OR

THE POSITIONThe Juvenile Department is looking for a variable hour Administrative Specialist II to assist both the Conciliation Services team and Juvenile front desk.
This Administrative Specialist II will be trained to backup the Administrative Specialist in Conciliation Services, with service delivery, including interfacing with the public via telephone, email, and in person, to communicate standard program needs. This position liaises with court staff and the family law assistance program, collecting and entering program data while maintaining records and electronic files. This position will also be cross-trained in covering Juvenile front desk reception, interacting with the public and staff on a daily basis in managing day-to-day workflow and courtroom activities.
This is a part-time, variable hour position that requires up to 20 hours of work per week.The Ideal Candidate Will Hold The Following Skillsets

Variable Hour positions are at-will and hours are limited to 20 hours per week. These positions will accrue sick time and are not eligible for medical, dental, or vision benefits.Minimum QualificationsEducation and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; and
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative or clerical support.
  • Possession of Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or other applicable certifications may substitute for up to one (1) year of the experience requirement.

  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
