Washington County School District is Hiring a Principal at EB Stanley Middle School Near Abingdon, VA
QualificationsMust have successful experience as a teacher. The middle school principal will be responsible for ensuring that every student achieves the academic skills to be successful lifelong learners. The principal will promote a collaborative atmosphere in the school, maintain high standards and expectations and support the development of the instructional staff and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Preference will be given to those with prior administrative experience. Must hold a Virginia teaching license with the endorsement of Principal or of Administration and Supervision, PreK-12. Must work effectively with parents, students, teachers, administrators, and the public.
Terms Of Employment12-month (260-day) contract, effective July 1, 2024
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
Benefits: VRS pension and life insurance, medical/dental insurance, sick, vacation, and personal days
