Aligned Orthopedics in partnership with Washington Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is hiring for an orthopedic physician assistant in the greater Washington, DC area. This position is OR based at our local hospital in DC and surrounding surgery centers.
Job responsibilities include assisting orthopedic surgeon in the OR and rounding on inpatients at our local hospital. Candidate should be comfortable being an independent provider, driven and detailed oriented. Prior orthopedic PA experience highly preferred. This is 90% OR/10% inpatient rounds.

We offer an extensive continuing education program for our PAs built into their schedule to allow continued skill development and enhancement. This includes monthly and quarterly presentations by our surgeons focusing on all aspects of orthopedics. You will have access to cadaver labs and advanced surgical technique training. Your training will be alongside a fellow PA for the first 3 months, as well as the surgeons you will be working with.
