The Department of Ecology's Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) is hiring a Site Manager / Hydrogeologist in Lacey, WA. This position requires residency within a commutable distance from the duty station and offers career advancement opportunities.
**Responsibilities and Qualifications**
As a Site Manager, you will specialize in remediation technologies for CERCLA and Department of Defense cleanup projects. Duties include providing guidance on hydrogeologic analyses, groundwater investigations, and cleanup actions at various sites, including naval bases, Joint Base Lewis McCord, and others.
This role involves reviewing technical reports, addressing various contamination issues such as PFAS, trichloroethylene, and perchloroethylene releases, as well as managing complex projects like plumes, landfills, and sediment contamination.
The position offers career progression through the Hydrogeologist field to achieve the Hydrogeologist 4 (HG4) class. Salary levels vary based on qualifications.
