DNR encourages and supports the continuing professional development of our Land Survey staff. This is a great opportunity for a licensed surveyor wanting to work in non-urban areas primarily in SW Washington with a small, but highly skilled work group.

Work with region points of contact and other region surveyors where available to prioritize and schedule projects. Keep points of contact up to date with estimated timelines and cost of projects and keep the land survey unit supervisor informed of plan changes.
  • Responsible for reconciling conflicting or ambiguous survey data, prioritizing work for multiple programs competing for a finite resource of survey time, planning crew configurations, and assigning and tracking the work of four employees.
