This position will assist a certified teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of students in a classroom setting. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; provides routine clerical support and perform related work as needed. Duties may include but not be limited to: · Assist with supervision of hallway, recess, lunch room, buses and car line. · Cover duties for absent aides and teachers as needed · Prepare instructional materials as requested. · Assist with preparation for school events. · Assist students with classroom work as a group or individual. · Organize and chaperone field trips and special events. · Report any injuries to students and complete accident forms. · Confidentiality · Other duties assigned by the supervisor, teacher or principal.
