About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of both our Laundromat/Self Storage Facility in Wilson, NC along with our Laundromat in Clayton, NC.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of both businesses, driving profitability, and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Laundromat Operations:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of both laundromats, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and proper equipment function.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations for both laundromats.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, customer satisfaction, equipment uptime, and inventory levels.
• Provide a consistent quality Wash, Dry & Fold service for the customer while keeping associated costs low. 
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control within the laundromats.
• Monitor daily cash drawer balancing; perform weekly store collections; reconciliation reports.
• Manage laundry equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train staff.
• Develop and implement performance management plans.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Self-Storage Operations:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our self-storage facility, ensuring facility cleanliness, security, and tenant satisfaction.
• Monitor and manage tenant leases, rent collections, and move-in/move-out processes.
• Perform late payment collections activities including cutting locks and conducting auctions in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes 44A.
• Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage unit availability and pricing to optimize occupancy rates.
• Oversee routine maintenance and repairs within the self-storage facilities.
• Implement marketing and promotional activities to attract new tenants.

General Responsibilities:

• Ensure all policies, procedures and employee functions are consistently being followed, contributing to the highest level of customer satisfaction and growth of the stores.
• Responsible for ensuring the store remains staffed at all times.
• Ensures that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained inside and outside of the store at all times.
• Accurately and honestly reports all monies and store information; immediately notifies and reports any discrepancies to Owner
• Managers must work a minimum of 40 hours/week, with one of these days being on Saturday or Sunday.
• Assume responsibility for covering vacant shifts as needed.

The above duties will serve as a guideline for this position, but are not intended to confine the employee. The manager will be expected to exercise a certain and appropriate amount of initiative and judgment in making his/her job more beneficial to both the company and his/her staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or customer service management, ideally in a laundromat or self-storage setting.
• Proven track record of success in managing multiple locations and achieving operational excellence.
• Reliable transportation with ability to commute between Wilson & Clayton locations
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to customer service and quality.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS
