Schedule
- Typically Monday thru Friday from 7 am - 5 pm *subject to change*
- Preform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed
- Perform general labor duties around Landfill
- Assist with landscaping duties
- Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor
- Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
- Excavating soil using a excavator
- Maintaining haul roads using a grader
- Hauling soil
- Work in a fast paced, team environment
- Follow safe operating practices
- Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service
- Experience running an ADT, excavator, dozer, and/or a 826 compactor.
- Experience final grading.
- Experience in a landfill, transfer station, or waste experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to be self directed as well as work in a team environment.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Areas are clean, ventilated, and well lit.
