Water & Environmental Technologies is Hiring a Project Hydrogeologist (Kalispell, MT) Near Kalispell, MT


 WET is seeking a full-time Project Level Hydrogeologist to prepare technical reports, conduct and oversee field investigations, analyze data in support of system design, permitting, and compliance with applicable state and federal environmental regulations. This position requires exceptional technical writing skills and effective verbal communication skills to interface with staff, clients, and regulatory personnel. Position will be located in the Kalispell office and will support projects across the Rocky Mountain and Pacific regions. Salary will be established based on experience. Salary also includes performance-based bonus. General Statement of Duties
Responsible for project management including scope of work preparation, planning, coordinating and maintaining schedules, budgets, staffing plans and interfacing with staff personnel, regulatory agencies, clients and vendors on projects across the Montana, Rocky Mountain West and Pacific Northwest regions.
  • Project management including scope of work preparation, planning, coordinating and maintaining schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
  • Perform hydrogeologic investigations at various sites including: municipal and public water supply well sites; oil and gas fields; proposed, active and/or abandoned mines; and industrial sites impacted by various chemical wastes.
  • Design and execute comprehensive environmental investigations.
  • Compile accurate and technical reports to communicate findings to clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Market services to existing and potential clients, as well as internally.
  • Management of team based project work resulting in client satisfaction and the on-time completion of high quality technical work product.
Qualifications
  • Project to Senior Level Hydrogeologistcandidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Geoscience, Hydrogeology or closely related field, with at least 5 years professional experience.
  • Professional certification and experience with marketing and business development preferred.

    Required Special Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License;
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
