What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wearhouse Manager position at Waterco of the Central States, Inc.?
Key Responsibilities:
- DI Filter Exchange: Manage the DI (Deionization) filter exchange process to ensure prompt service for technicians.
- Filter Head Assembly: Oversee filter head building and ensure quality standards are met for product functionality.
- System Preparation: Prepare POET (Point-of-Entry Treatment) systems and RO (Reverse Osmosis) filters, including flushing and readiness for deployment.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring technicians have the required supplies and equipment for their service calls.
- Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of trucks, verifying inventory against orders and ensuring safe handling practices.
- Safety and Maintenance: Maintain high standards for warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety, including general warehouse upkeep and implementing safety protocols.
- OSHA Compliance: Ensure the warehouse and surrounding perimeter meet OSHA compliance, creating a safe work environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in warehouse management, ideally within distribution or water treatment services.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and inventory management skills; familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items, operate warehouse equipment, and perform physical tasks as needed.
Salary Details:
- $24-26/hr Depending on experience

Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with the city area where duties will be performed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
- Please note, candidates offered a position must undergo a DOT physical (at the time of hire and every two years thereafter), a drug screen, and a background check in line with state and Federal laws.
- Minimum of one year of year of plumbing or maintenance is required
- Face-to-face customer service
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift over 100 pounds
- Ability to drive for extended periods (2-3 hours)
- Ability to kneel/bend for extended periods.
