Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practioner is looking to hire a Front Office-Office Manager to handle just about everything in her business. This will be temp to hire with hours of 9:00a - 5:00 or 5:30 pm Monday-Wednesday and 9:00-7:00 (ish) on Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays. Patients are seen everyday and the NP depends on the Office Assistant to handle all of the administrative functions (scheduling, patient paperwork, etc.)..There are many tasks to this job but in summary you will handle:

• All patient appointment and phone calls
• Prepare patient charts accordingly and maintain them
• Handle daily medication requests vith Prior Autorization and work with the pharmacies
• Handle the billing paperwork, balance and batch bills at the end of each day.
• Clean up old files and data for storage
• Accept patient payment on Square - a POS system

Experience Needed:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Medical office experience is preferable
• Experience using Medisoft/Office Hours, Cover My Meds, Square (or other POS) and Ring Central is preferable
• Better than average experience using MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Self-motivated, quick learner, dependable, trustworthy and friendly are all traits this NP is looking for

The right person for this role is someone who understands customer service and can be a little flexible with working hours. You must be very dependable since there is no other coverage for this front desk.
