Watermelon Swim's mission is to grow a community full of safer swimmers and reduce the risks while increasing confidence in and around water.

Watermelon Swim, the leader in swim instruction in the Tampa Bay area, teaches water safety to all ages while incorporating fun in and out of the pool. As our Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of championing our mission. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Executing and communicating marketing strategies and campaigns.

· Securing new partnership and relationship opportunities to continue to grow the Watermelon Swim brand by spreading its mission.

· Protecting brand identity through design, consistency and messaging.

· Identifying media and paid advertising opportunities.

· Overseeing and managing social media content.

· Writing content for the website, publications and social media sites.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors.

· Working with SEO vendor to coordinate content, approvals, web needs.

· Tracking of and reporting on all marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

· 3-5 years of experience in a Marketing-related field

· Solid understanding and eye for design and branding

· Social media marketing experience preferred but not required

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Solid organizational and project management skills as well as attention to detail

· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events as needed

· Ability to travel to all locations
