Schedule: Full time, year round

Compensation: $38.93 $/hr to 43.33 $/hr DOE

Location: New Milford, CT (on-site Monday – Friday)

Mission for the position: Waters Construction Company is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to work on a wide array of heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, rollers, and pavers. This position comes with the opportunity to train and become a Class 1 mechanic

Outcomes that must be accomplished:

• Experience in repair and maintenance of construction and asphalt equipment (3 years’ experience preferred)
• Has their own required tools
• Has experience in welding

Competencies for the position:

• OSHA 10 Hour
• Current CT Driver’s License
• Have reliable personal transportation
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Can work OT when needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Trainable/Adaptable

Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $38.93 $/hr to 43.33 $/hr DOE

Insurance: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (100% paid for the individual, 50% for family members).

Annuity: $2.90/hr
