Position: Volleyball Team Assistant (SY 24-25) (Stipend)

Reports to: Director of Athletics

Affiliation: Unit A, Section F

Salary range: $1,915.00 Stipend

Time Commitment:

• Six days a week
• Fifteen to twenty hours a week
• Season Length- 8/19/2024 – 11/23/2024 

This is a stipend position.

SUMMARY: 

The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Volleyball Team Assistant to coach the volleyball team for the 2024-2025 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Scouting opponents
• Assisting in coaching strategy at practice or games
• Analyze game Strategy
• Implementation of skill development
• Coverage of bus trips
• Video analysis of games
• Statistical analysis of games
• Coach specific positions due to the expertise

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• CPR certified
• NFHS concussion course completed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School degree or equivalent
• Diploma from an accredited college or university
