Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team. This role plays a vital part in the care process, utilizing expertise in dietetics and physiology knowledge to assess patients' nutritional needs and develop effective treatment plans. Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to identify nutritional deficiencies and develop personalized meal plans to address these issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including those requiring specialized dietary interventions such as tube feeding.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of physiology and nutrition to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote optimal health and well-being.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed choices about their diets and lifestyles.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in dietetics and nutrition to continually improve patient outcomes.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetic.
• Completion of an American Dietetic Association approved internship or equivalent American Dietetic Association approved program.
• Must be registered with the American Dietetic Association.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of nutrition and physiology.
• Proven health coaching skills.
• Expertise in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
• Experience with tube feeding and other specialized dietary interventions.
• Strong understanding of dietetics and nutrition therapy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year acute hospital experience as a clinical dietitian within the last two years preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Must have experience with computers that includes Microsoft Word.

Licensure/Certification:

• Certified as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Pay: $39.69 - $54.20 per hour
