Waukesha Pearce Industries is Hiring an Utility Foreman (ED) Near Oklahoma, OK

Job Details
DescriptionJob purposeUtility Foreman have the responsibility of daily operations of the yard and all outside equipment, as well as working with maintenance staff and contractors to perform maintenance and repairs to ensure efficiency of the facility and equipment, while operating with prescribed policies and procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • General upkeep of yard, outside equipment and buildings.
  • Works within and ensures compliance within appropriate safety rules, policies and procedures, while operating with prescribed policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation
  • Coordinates, executes and follows up on work requests and participates as a team member on more complex projects as required
  • Coordinates, executes and follows up on preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled on the preventive maintenance program to ensure all equipment is maintained properly and is operating efficiently
  • Works to preserve a standard of excellence in interior and exterior appearance of facility and grounds
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor, management or work orders
  • On call after-hours as needed
  • Maintains current and assigned inventory of all building tools, equipment, supplies and fixtures.
  • Must have mechanical skills
  • Must have management skills
  • Must protect the company assets and interest
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must have 3 year(s) previous experience.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
  • Must have dependable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend and twist several times a day.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days.
  • Must be dependable and work independently.
  • Must maintain good client relations.
  • Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
  • Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others.
  • Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others.
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate forklift
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate miscellaneous office equipment (fax, copier, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate auto cranes
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate all tools
Working Conditions
  • Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Weekend hours as necessary.
  • Indoor/Outside, work as required.
