Wauseon Machine is Hiring a Receiving & Inventory Specialist Near Wauseon, OH
Brief DescriptionCore Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and put-away incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Disperse product as needed.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Overall inventory management of tools and equipment in crib or vendor management equipment.
- Review min/max stocking levels in cabinets, crib, store; submit orders to supply chain as needed.
- Run various reports related to deliveries and receipts.
- Actively participate in various continuous improvement projects, cost savings, and lean initiatives.
- Assist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns.
- Willingness to be onsite 100% (no remote or hybrid work arrangements available for this position).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience working in an ERP system, preferably Job Boss.
- Experience or understanding of store/crib management and daily operations in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in receiving outsource machining/fabrication parts and the ability to read basic prints.
- Experience maintaining inventory and tracking part locations for multiple areas.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Fork truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended amounts of time (8 hours) and continuously lift 30-50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management skills. Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and address receiving discrepancies. Resolve issues promptly.
