WAXIEs Operations Manager is responsible for leading, nurturing, developing, and improving WAXIEs overall operations at their designated location. Reporting to a General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a team of Warehouse, Customer Service, and Service Center, Inventory, Support Service employees.

Salary Range- $114k - 117K

• Ensure support operations are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Select, train, develop, and motivate managers; evaluate performance and recommend salary actions to ensure a stable and competent organization.
• Manage route logistics for efficient deliveries to our customers.
• Maintain adequate and accurate inventories and service levels.
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment to minimize the companys losses and liability and protect employees well-being.
• Manage expenses to an operational budget. Review cost of goods to maximize profitability.
• Provide logistical input in order to streamline the operation while improving efficiency.
• Provide support and guidance to operational employees to ensure maintenance of positive morale and motivation.
• Work with Sales Management in resolving any and all customer service/operational issues.
• Responsible for equipment, vehicle and facility maintenance.
• Approve credits for returns or pricing.
• Establish and maintain proper level of staffing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior Operational/Logistics Management experience preferably in a distribution and warehouse environment.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to manage, lead and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Previous management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service background with an emphasis on resolving customer issues and problem solving.
• Previous AS400 or ERP experience is preferred.
• Results-oriented driven with demonstrated success in leading a diverse group of warehouse and customer service personnel to accomplish daily goals.
  Ability to multi-task.
• Strong ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Positive, self-motivated, with a team player attitude.
