Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Football Coach to join our team and assist in the coaching and mentoring of our football players. The ideal candidate will have a passion for football and working with students, helping them develop their skills both on and off the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting football practices
- Provide individual coaching to players to improve their skills
- Assist in game day preparations and strategy implementation
- Help maintain equipment and ensure player safety during practices and games
- Support players in their academic and personal development
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to create a positive team environment

Qualifications:
- Experience working with students, particularly in sports or coaching roles
- Knowledge and ability to teach technique and strategy involved with football
-Proven ability to enhance player skill development
-Basic first aid skills and concussion training
-Prior high school and/or college football experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Passion for football and helping young athletes grow and succeed
-Familiarity with rules and policies of MHSAA and the Wayland Union Board of Education
