Qualifications

· Google Suite/Docs

· Knowledge of the Odyssey of the Mind program and its principles

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

· Coordinate and oversee the recruitment and formation of OM teams in each school.

· Ensure all teams adhere to the Odyssey of the Mind rules and guidelines.

· Ensure that training sessions for coaches, judges, and volunteers are attended as required.

· Provide ongoing support, as necessary, and resources to team coaches, including problem-solving techniques, team-building activities, and conflict-resolution strategies.

· Maintain consistent communication with coaches to monitor progress and address concerns.

· Plan and manage district-wide OM events, including informational meetings, workshops, and showcases.

· Coordinate participation in regional, state, and world OM competitions.

· Arrange transportation, lodging, and other logistics for teams attending competitions, as necessary.

· Serve as the primary point of contact between the district and the regional OM organization.

· Communicate program updates, deadlines, and requirements to all involved parties, including students, parents, coaches, and school administrators.

· Promote the Odyssey of the Mind program within the district and the community.

· Allocate resources and materials to teams, ensuring equitable distribution.

· Maintain an inventory of OM supplies and materials.

· Collect and analyze feedback from participants to continuously improve the program.

Terms of Employment: 2024-2025 School Year
