Fire Sprinkler Fitters and HelpersWayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for Fire Sprinkler Service Helpers and Fitters in our Concord NC branch to work in the surrounding areas.
This position reports to the Branch/Department Manager.
Day To Day
- Work closely with the Foreman on job sites to troubleshoot, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
- Follow procedures and instructions to troubleshoot, repair, add/relocate, and install fire sprinkler systems.
- Working well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
- Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 70 pounds.
- Construction experience preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Travel within the local community is required.
- Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
- Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening including 10 years of employment verification is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.
