Open Position: Variance Purchase Order Coordinator

Wayne Homes is seeking an organized Variance Purchase Order Coordinator (VPOC) with excellent communication and time management skills to join our team. As a VPOC, you will work closely with the construction team to process job variances and communicate to trade partners. Accurately and timely processing of variance data orders is an important part of the production process. If you have the VPOC qualifications we are seeking, we encourage you to apply!

This is a remote position that may require in-office work, as required.

Duties:

• Process timely and accurate variances.
• Share information with trade partners promptly using guidelines.
• Use tiered approval process.
• Use Builder MT software to issue variances.
• Use OnBase software to process and research.
• Understand variance coding including change orders and back charges.
• Maintain accuracy of variance coding.
• Improve scores on semi-annual department survey.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, at home or in office. 

Qualifications: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to type 35 WPM.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at times.
