Wayne Russell & Associates Llc is Hiring an Extrusion Production Manager (in S. IL) Near Louisville, KY
We are searching to fill a full time DAY-shift, Extrusion Production Manager OR Supervisor, (depending on experience), for a manufacturer located in extreme southern IL, near the KY border, near New Grand Chain, Illinois.Salary Range:
- If Manager - $75k to $90k PLUS relocation reimbursement
- If Supervisor - $60k to $70k PLUS relocation reimbursement
- Directs the activities of the Aluminum Extrusion Press Department.
- Communicates job assignments to employees and monitors production quantities.
- Schedules production of extrusions and ensures on-time delivery to customers.
- Monitors tooling on machinery and research improved tooling methods.
- Ensures that equipment is maintained and kept in top operating condition.
- Ensures quality control on extrusions being produced.
- Actively participates in meetings and supports company initiatives in a positive manner
- Responsible for ensuring that dies are available and staged in the oven according to schedule
- Ability to think outside the box
- Understanding of measurements, tolerances, basic geometry, and numeracy comprehension
- Maintains open communication with press personnel, Supervisors, Management and Maintenance
- Maintain and submit production records as required
- Works within the guidelines of the Quality Program, including drawings and procedures
- Familiarity with extrusion software such as EPICS is a plus
- Must have good team building and motivational skills
- Attention to detail
- Develops, recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products
- Provides OJT and formal training as required to employees under his/her supervision
- Works within the guidelines of the quality program. Ensures that all extruded products meet print tolerances.
- Ensures good housekeeping in work area.
- Reports problems or accidents to management immediately.
- Considers safety on each job and abides by all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Performs related work as required.
