Wayne Russell & Associates Llc is Hiring a Quality Engineer (in KY) Near Clarksville, TN
- $80K TO $90K (max) per year.
- There is no relocation assistance so you would have to be able to commute or relocate closer at your own expense.
- BS Degree in related field
- Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive
- Monitor and reduce customer PPM through in-process defect analysis and problem solving.
- Lead the root cause and countermeasure activity for Customer, internal, and supplier related corrective actions.
- Support the IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Maintain awareness of quality related topics (customer issues, audits, etc.) with all NMMI personnel
- Review and submit new model PPAP documents such as PFMEA, control plans, PSW etc.
- Support departmental and companywide suggestion system by acting as role model and resource for completion of projects.
- Support department and companywide 6S program through leading by example and ensuring their work area is meeting company 6S target.
- Act as the voice of the customer, including direct interaction with the customer and establishment as the first line of communication to the customer.
- B.S. degree in related field
- Problem solving methodology (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Blueprint reading / specification interpretation
- Quality Core Tools knowledge; certification a plus
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 internal auditor experience; certification a plus
