Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Clerical Temporary at its Detroit campus location.

This part-time positionprovides support to the HIGH Program team with tasks related tofundraising and program support.
Position is 20 hours per week – may vary at times
Hours within a traditional workday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Evening and weekend hours may be required, on occasion
Essential Functions
Providing administrativesupport to HIGH Program and Founding Director, including ordering andmaintaining office and marketing supplies, filing, answering phones,preparation of reports, budget tracking, calendar management, and scheduling.
Recruitand manage a team of 5 – 10 interns, volunteers, and work study students. Work with HR department to recruit andonboard new team members. Train, supervise,and track work assignments.
Representthe HIGH Program at university events. Gather HIGH Program marketing materials, provide customer support to allinquiries about the HIGH Program for both potential donors and awardrecipients.
Process student applications forassistance in a manner compliant with FERPA.
Track student applications tocompletion, maintain a database of student
applications.
Adhere toconfidentiality and data usage policy for the division.
Performrelated duties as assigned.

Excellent customer service skills and professional etiquette, amust. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams)and use of complex administrative systems.
Self-motivated, problem solver,detail oriented individual with the ability to multi-task.
Must be dependableand reliable.
Business casual/office attire required.
