This position plays a crucial role in ensuring superior service, organization, and guest satisfaction. The Banquet Captain will supervise the banquet team, coordinate with other departments, and maintain high standards of service in all events, including weddings, corporate functions, and member gatherings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead banquet service staff during events, ensuring professionalism, efficiency, and adherence to club service standards.
- Coordinate event setup and breakdown, ensuring all aspects align with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Communicate effectively with the Banquet Manager, Culinary Team, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Train, mentor, and support banquet team members to enhance service quality and teamwork.
- Monitor service flow and proactively address any issues to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Ensure all banquet spaces are properly maintained, clean, and set up according to club standards.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local and state laws.
- Provide feedback to management regarding event successes and areas for improvement.
