This role is with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). WayUp is partnering with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to hire top talent.
Position Description
You will serve as a Supervisory Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Aerospace Engineer, and/or Industrial Engineer in the Air Systems Group, Propulsion and Power Engineering Department, Test Methods and Facilities Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities

You will design devices such as aircraft, rockets, auxiliary systems and motors, and perform interior or exterior ballistic calculations.
You will develop and maintain budget for the organization and for various test project support work and controlling organizational expenditure
You will plan, direct, and control all the activities of the division and will be responsible for managing personnel skills, processes, and resources, as well as the overall technical conduct of the division.
You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommend official performance ratings.
You will do all other tasks as assigned.
