Our company daycare operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing on-site care for our employees' children. As the Daycare Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for children while actively contributing to their early development. You'll work closely with parents who are on site and available in case of emergencies.

THE JOB/IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a passionate individual who is caring, dependable, and punctual, with experience caring for infants and/or toddlers in a structured setting. They must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation. There are between 5 and 8 children, ages ranging from 6 months to 3 years. JOB DUTIES:

• Provide oversight and care for 5-8 children of various ages and developmental stages
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all ages of children
• Create and adhere to a daily schedule that provides the following:
  • Structure and predictability
  • Outdoor play time
  • Engaging age-appropriate activities
  • Naps and mealtimes
• Manage/schedule 2-3 part time daycare attendants
• Purchase supplies within the provided budget as needed

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Loves working with kids
• Experience in a structured daycare/school setting
• Experience creating activities for young children
• Highly organized
• Creative
• Completion of a satisfactory background investigation prior to hire.
• Must live in the Southern Oregon region.

DESIRED:

• First aid certification
• Experience in play-based learning and social emotional development
• Knowledge of early childhood development
