Position
The human resources department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF Insurance values to join their team as a HR Generalist. This is a full-time, exempt position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.
Responsibilities
The person in this position will partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and people needs. Translate business needs into actionable HR strategies and programs. Provide consultative advice and support on a wide range of HR matters including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and more. Responsible for providing solid HR practices and employee relations. Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks. Maintain in-dept knowledge of employment law (Utah and western states), benefits, and compensation. Proactively identify and address HR risks and compliance issues. Analyze HR data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Internal candidates should have acceptable job performance, six months in current position, and must notify their current supervisor that they've applied for the position.
Ability to hire at the Senior HR Generalist Level depending on experience.
