Onsite Resident Manager

A well-established San Francisco based Real Estate Investment Property Management Company is looking for an Onsite Resident Manager. This is your opportunity to develop your skill set in Property Management and Leasing. The position is for those seeking to enhance their leadership skills with hands-on experience, while further developing their experience in the Real Estate Industry.

We are seeking an Onsite Resident Manager for a part-time position in an apartment complex in San Francisco. As the position is part time it will be acceptable for qualified candidate to maintain other outside employment.
The position will provide a studio/one-bedroom apartment plus one car parking space (if available).

Qualifications:

• Energetic, highly motivated, responsible and dependable, Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and excellent organization skill
• Knowledgeable with building maintenance and system
• This position will require resident manager to live onsite to conduct responsibilities and duties.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and vendors for all repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain the building common areas in a clean and excellent condition
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Outlook, Word, Excel and AppFolio (a plus but not required) software for maintenance
• High Rise Safety Certification (a plus but not required)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee common areas including building interior hallways, exterior areas, garage, laundry room and garbage area are in clean and operable condition.
• Schedule and manage vendors and contractors.
• On call for after hour emergencies
• Maintain strong tenant relationships.
• Manage maintenance requests, tenant inquiries through AppFolio Property Management.
• Perform Annual building and unit inspections.
• Prepare Move-in and move-out unit walk throughs with tenants.
• Enforce all Lease terms and House Policies.
• Leasing and showing vacancies to prospective residents.

Education, Skill & Experience requirements:
1. BA/BS degree in Business, Real Estate or related field strongly preferred with engineering degree PLUS
2. Minimum 2 years in the Real Estate/Property Management industry experience
