WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a part time Certified Surg ical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at a state of the art ambulatory surgery center located in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Our client specializes mostly in Orthopedic surgery.
Job Function

• Maintain proper sterile field during surg ical procedures
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy
• Prepare patients for surg ery as requested
• Provide technical assistance to surg eons and OR nurses as needed
• Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques
• Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation
• Take inventory and order surg ical supplies as needed

Job Requirements

• 2 years Surg Tech experience
• 1 years preferred in an ASC environment
• Orthopedic surgery experience is a huge bonus, open to any type of surgical experience
