WCTS is Hiring an Instructional Materials Specialist - CNRF Fort Worth Near Fort Worth, TX

Instructional Materials Specialist 
Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS), an award-winning contracting firm, is recruiting for highly qualified Instructional Materials Specialists to support the development of critical products in alignment with Commander, Navy Reserve Force (CNRF) to support the CNRFC N73 Learning Standards Office including support to Air Logistics Training Center (ALTC) Learning Standards Office in direct support of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO). 

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location: Fort Worth, TX 
Work Hours: 40 Hours - Full Time
Period of Performance: September 15th 2024 – This is a 1-year contract with 4 option years
Expected Start Date: September 15th 2024

Overview or Scope:
The CNRFC N73 Learning Standards Office has the responsibility of Curriculum Control Authority (CCA) for approximately fifty Navy Reserve-specific training courses supporting over 40,000 Reserve Sailors, which includes the evaluation of training data, training capabilities and interfaces, the revision of all currently developed training courses, the development of new training courses and training materials and to conduct technical analysis and evaluations as it relates to Navy Reserve training and education. The continuation of contractor support for planning, development, evaluation and implementation of training tools that are designed to improve efficiency and value of the Navy Reserve Training Programs is required to sustain the N73 support to the CNRFC. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and curate instructional materials and digital resources 

  • Provide data entry services to enter approved course information into any other identified electronic systems as required by CNRFC and higher authority 

  • Collaborate with educators and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment with curriculum standards 

  • Evaluate and select appropriate instructional materials based on educational goals and student needs 

  • Customize and adapt existing materials to meet diverse learning styles and levels 

  • Conduct research on current educational trends and resources to inform material development 

  • Review and revise instructional materials to ensure quality and relevance 

  • Provide training and support to educators on the effective use of instructional materials 

  • Maintain records of material usage and feedback for continuous improvement 

  • Ensure instructional materials comply with copyright laws and accessibility standards 

  • Participate in curriculum development meetings and contribute to instructional planning 

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance 

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an Instructional Materials Specialist 

  • Evidence of experience with: 

    • Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) Content Planning Module /Learning Object Module (CPM/LOM) 
    • Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office MAC 2016 (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint), Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC) 

  • Working knowledge of the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) programs, policies and procedures, to include instructional systems design and developing Navy curricula IAW NAVEDTRA standards. 

  • Working knowledge of Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC), Enterprise Naval Training Reservation System (eNTRS), Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS), and Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS) 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to create an effective learning environment.

Desired:

  • A degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related major from an accredited university 

  • Previous experience with the Navy or defense organizations.

  • Relevant certifications to instructional materials design including, but not limited to:

    • PMP Certification 
    • Certificates in eLearning or Instructional Design 

    • Instructional System Design Training Program Certification 
    • Adobe Certified Professional
