Field Engineering Supervisor

Supervise and develop a team of field application engineers responsible for the technical support for the region. Manage technical documents for conformity and quality assurance. Work with operations and product line to drive product development. Acts as technical specialist or advisor to management and staff. Manage technical needs for proper sales and customer support. Receives supervision and guidance relating to overall objectives and critical issues, new concepts and policy matters.

• Perform and supervise application evaluations such as modelling, testing, proper equipment selection and adjustments.
• Drive learning and development of team in accordance with Weatherford's NextGen graduate training program
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Performs job planning and preparation of tools and equipment, promptly and accurately submits all required reports and data.
• Promptly report issues, lessons learned and best practices using the appropriate online system.
• Maintain equipment, facilities and work locations in a presentable and working condition.
• Maintain customer relations, communications and provide technical support.
• Know and fully understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Experience and Education:

• Minimum of 3 years related experience
• Engineering degree required. Preferred degree within Petroleum-, Mechanical-, Electrical, Electronic, Chemical- or Industrial Engineering
• 2 years experience with downhole tools
• Self-motivator, self-starter
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to train personnel in all service operations.
• Operates all service tools in an assigned service area.
