Position Profile RoleWeaver is looking for talented tax professionals at the Senior Associate level to join our growing Blockchain & Digital Assets (BDA) practice! As a BDA Tax Senior Associate, you will be a core member of our team and play an integral role in servicing client work, training associates, and developing business. Below are some of the day-to-day activities a BDA Senior Associate will perform:

Position Profile RoleWeaver is looking for talented tax professionals at the Senior Associate level to join our growing Blockchain & Digital Assets (BDA) practice! As a BDA Tax Senior Associate, you will be a core member of our team and play an integral role in servicing client work, training associates, and developing business. Below are some of the day-to-day activities a BDA Senior Associate will perform:
- Plan, prepare and deliver client work to Managers and Partners independently
- Perform tax technical research on digital asset tax accounting for Federal, State, and International tax jurisdictions
- Perform market research on new web3 companies and applications
- Assist in the development of BDA-focused tax training materials
- Participate in prospective client research, meetings, and activities
- Participate in local and national crypto events and conferences
Education And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2 years of public tax accounting experience preferred
- Experience preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns
- Functional understanding of blockchain technology
- Experience with investment funds is preferred
- Strong project management, team orientation and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- CPA candidate required, CPA designation preferred
