Webb Automotive Group is Hiring an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Highland, IN
Accounts Payable & Receivable- Full TimeWe are seeking an entry level A/P A/R clerk with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. This individual will be responsible for basic accounting skills and routine accounting functions in both accounts receivable and accounts payable. This position will also cover our cashier/receptionist department as needed.Benefits

- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Research and respond to receivable and payable inquiries
- Communicate with vendors/customers to resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile AP/AR and other schedules as assigned
- Timely follow-up and resolution of aged accounts receivables
- Reconcile and prepare daily cash/credit card deposits
- Performs end-of-month procedures as required
- Generate monthly vendor statements
- Complete floorplan reconciliatons
- Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and records the amount received
- Process warranty cancellations
- Maintain records and collection of W9s and Sales Tax Exempt forms
- Process 1099 forms for end of year
- File and scan documents into our DMS
- Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
- Assist Managers with various clerical duties and other projects as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, organized, reliable and detail-oriented
- Can-do attitude with ability to work independently within a team environment
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable procedures a plus
- Previous Dealership experience desirable
