Job Summary/Basic Function
Part-time adjunct instructor of Automotive Service. To teach one or two courses per semester as needed.
**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate field
A current ASE Master Automobile Technician certification
Preferred Qualifications
A Masters degree in a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of, and experience with, current vehicle electrical and electronic systems is preferred.
ASE L1 certification is preferred.
Post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
Toyota, General Motors, Honda, Ford, or Chrysler training history is also desirable.
The successful candidate will have energy, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with people
