Job Summary/Basic Function
The Dumke College of Health Professions IT Support Technician will assist in the support and maintenance of the computers and Information Systems in the college, including the desktops, laptops and peripherals. Under the direction of the College Director of Computing Services, this person helps the faculty and staff with their Information Technology needs. Will work closely with other College of Health Professions full time staff to learn about support and troubleshooting both Windows and Mac computers.
This position is expected to work 25 to 29 hours a week as needed.
Duties will include providing computing support for faculty and staff, managing inventory of technology, and configuring Windows and Mac computer systems. Hourly employee will gain competence in supporting and troubleshooting computing equipment, providing customer service and support for faculty and staff, supporting and configuring Windows and MacOS systems and experience working with AV equipment.
Required Qualifications
Must be a current WSU Student.
Exposure/experience with any of the following: Windows, MacOS, and/or AV equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
1 Year of customer service experience
1 year of hands-on computer support experience
Knowledge of Windows and MacOS systems

Physical Requirements of this position
