An Assistant's primary responsibility is to ensure visitors to the Stress Relief Center have positive experiences participating in various activities in the SRC.
SRC assistants are involved in all aspects of the WSU Stress Relief Center, including hosting and supporting visitors, maintenance of equipment, enhancement of the facilities, and general upkeep.
Ultimately, the SRC assistants are responsible for ensuring the SRC is functioning perfectly and effectively, working to promote wellness through the art of reducing personal stress.
Criminal Background check is required as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to those students who have completed the HLTH 1110 Stress Management or HLTH 2400 Mind/Body Wellness classes.
Additionally, preference will be given to students enrolled in one of the programs in the HPER department.
Background in specific computer applications is helpful, along with a friendly, outgoing, and personable personality and a proactive approach toward personal wellness.
