Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator for our Coating department at our Central Islip/Hauppauge, NY facilities. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on coating operations. This role involves operating coating machines, ensuring product quality, performing maintenance, and adhering to safety standards.
Candidate must be working in a Pharma / Nutraceutical / Food & Beverage Manufacturing unit as a Manufacturing Operator supporting Granulation, Blending, Compression, Encapsulation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
- 2-10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on coating operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of coating materials, processes, and machinery.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Working Conditions:
- Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.
- May require shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on production demands.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16,000.00 - $20,000.00 per year
