DescriptionThe Entry-Level Diesel Fuel Injection Technician focuses on testing, disassembly, rebuilds, and replacing parts as necessary. Responsibilities
Repair of fuel injection pumps and fuel injectors (training provided)
Clean and test HPCR Diesel Fuel Injectors on a Test Bench
Test & rebuild all conventional mechanical injectors
Disassemble and clean fuel injection pumps being rebuilt
Testing of Electronic Common Rail Injectors
Testing of Electronic Unit Injectors (EUI)
Operate and perform maintenance on injector test stands
Calibrations to manufacturer specification
Maintenance of test equipment as directed
Follow directions and standard safety procedures
Maintain a clean work environment
RequirementsRequirements and Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude
Work with hand tools. All tools are company provided.
Works with Micrometer and Caliper (We will train)
Manual dexterity up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand at workstation throughout shift
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Must successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening
Fosters good coworker citizenship in the workplace
Ability to work as an individual contributor while assisting co-workers as customer needs fluctuate
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
