Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work in a safe and professional manner at all times, keeping the safety of oneself and others as their highest priority
- Perform Lock Out/Tag Out on all assets
- MHE-Perform PM’s and repairs on:
- Crown and Raymond Forklifts
- Batteries/Chargers
- OBM-Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on:
- Conveyor System & Packaging Equipment
- HVAC & Lighting systems
- Cubiscans/Scales
- Fire & Security Systems
- Racking Repairs
- Dock assets
- General building
- Learn new skills that will benefit the Team and Company as a whole
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment, while abiding by all forklift safety training, to ensure a safe work environment
- Effectively communicate, with Manager and Team members, through phone, text, and email
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to document labor, assets, and inventory
- Report any accidents, incidents, or Safety concerns to a supervisor immediately
- Keep work zone clean and orderly and help maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing or distribution environment
- Minimum of 2 years' experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance
- Previous experience in the Electrical, Mechanical, PLCs, or HVAC fields preferred
- Electrical troubleshooting skills are beneficial
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and/or Crown lift equipment is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
- Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
- Requires the ability to regularly lift / carry 50-75lbs. and push / pull up to 150lbs.
- Ability to work at elevations of up to 50 feet
Travel RequirementsMay require occasional travel to other facilities within the region
